Clubhouse
Club Safety Guidelines:
As a Member of Beaver Creek Club, you are responsible for your actions, as well as those of your family members, guests and pets brought onto Club grounds. Courtesy and adherence to the following rules is required at al times:
- Membership in Beaver Creek Club is a privilege. Any member whose conduct at the Club is repeatedly obnoxious or which frequently interferes with other members' use and enjoyment of the Club or its facilities, may, by a majority vote of the Board of Trustees, have his or her membership privileges revoked.
- Safety always comes first. Follow the NRA Gun Safety Rules, as well as Federal and State hunting and fishing regulations, and laws. It is your responsibility to understand these rules prior to partaking in any hunting, fishing or firearm related activity. Eye and hearing protection is required at all times when firearms are involved with your activites.
- Absolutely NO consumption of alcohol or use of drugs is allowed before or during a hunt or firearm related activity. This includes when cleaning, handling or shooting firearms.
- All firearms MUST be unloaded with the action open. You may only load your firearm when you are either on a station when shooting clay birds, ready to hunt in the field, or on a range ready to shoot. Members with Concealed Carry Permits may carry per current laws.
- Do not shoot unless you are sure of your target and what lies beyond it.
- Observe ALL posted signs and warnings.
- Do not leave guests unattended. You are responsible for their actions.
- Dogs are not permitted in the clubhouse and must be kenneled, in your vehicle, or under your supervision at all times.
- Golf carts and other Club vehicles are only to be driven by licensed drivers.
Firearms:
Anywhere in or around the clubhouse, except on a shooting station or in a hunting field, ALL GUNS must be unloaded, actions open, and muzzles in a safe direction. Concealed handguns, legally carried by those licensed to do so, are excluded.
Dogs:
The Board of Trustees and the Club Management have requested that members follow certain guidelines pertaining to dogs on Club grounds and in the clubhouse. While we all love our dogs, there are times where we must also police our four legged friends. Please remember these guidelines when bringing your dog to Beaver Creek: No matter what type of dog or how large or small the dog’s size, dogs are not permitted in the clubhouse at any time. When on Club grounds, your dog must be in your control at all times. Dogs are not permitted to run freely around the clubhouse unattended. A member should not be inside of the clubhouse while the dog is free outside. If you need to attend to matters inside of the clubhouse, your dog should be securely stowed in your vehicle or in a kennel. If your dog begins to show aggressive signs toward another dog or human, please intervene immediately to avoid injury to the dogs, owners, other members or guests.
